Sellers Services:

The GSDA unloading pier is the premier unloading facility in Gloucester having the ability to unload three vessels at a time from multiple unloading doors.  Unloading of vessels as well as receiving of trucked in product occurs daily.

Employees manually cull the catch separating each product according to species and size, weighed, boxed, iced, labeled with a unique lot number and immediately placed in the display cooler for viewing.  All vessels that unload with GSDA will have their catch sold on auction the following auction morning (Monday thru Friday).

Seller’s monitoring room: a unique room for sellers and/or reps to quietly view the auction.  This room provides sellers/reps to “scratch” a bid if they chose to.

GSDA also provides dockage, fuel, ice, vessel representative, diving services and private unloading services just to name a few.

GSDA provides pick up and delivery from other designated ports around Cape Cod, New Hampshire, Maine and Rhode Island.  The product is culled, weighed, iced, labeled and displayed in our cooler. Sellers from other ports may personally truck their daily catch to us.
